Brief Technical characteristics   
   

    1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Aviation refueller with tank nominal capacity of 10 KL is designed for refueling aircraft with filtered aviation fuel both in pure form and in mixture with anti-crystallization liquid (ACF). Aviation refueller is designed for operation in out-of-class, I, II and III class airports of civil aviation (CA), as well as for the transportation of jet fuel on general roads. Operating condition - working ambient temperature from minus 40ºС to plus 40ºС.

         

     The tanker design provides:

• transportation of aviation fuel to aircraft refueling sites;
• transportation of fuel on public roads;
  
• jet fuel filtration (with specified values of filtration fineness and content of mechanical impurities);
  
• aircraft refueling with jet fuel (closed and open method);
  
• accounting for issued jet fuel;
  
• sampling and localization of residues;
  
• mixing of the fuel;
• control and regulation of refueling modes;
  
• prevention of water hammer, protection against water hammer and pressure increase in the fuel pipeline system;
• reduction of pressure in distributing sleeves;
• discharge of fuel from the tank by gravity.
•         Additional options: in accordance with the terms of the supply contract, aviation refueller can additionally perform the following technological operations:

• metered introduction of Anti-water crystallization liquid into aviation fuel after the filter-water separator;
• filling the aviation refueller tank with its own pump;
  
• pumping jet fuel with its own pump from one reservoir to another, bypassing the tank;
  
• removal of working liquids from distributing sleeves.

      3. DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

      3.1. MAZ chassis with a 4×2 wheel arrangement or as agreed with the Customer is used as the basic transport and energy base of the aviation refueller for the installation of a filling module and a tank.

      3.2. The tank is made of stainless steel.

      3.3. The composition of the equipment installed in the filling module:

• driven pump;
  
• water separator filter;
  
• counter - liquid flow meter;
  
• drive coils with distributing sleeves;
  
• shut-off and control equipment;
  
• technological pipeline system;
  
• instrumentation and controls;
  
• grounding and removal of static electricity;
  
• fire-fighting equipment;
  
• dosing system Anti-water crystallization liquid (when ordered in the supply contract)
  

      3.4.Aviation refueller is equipped with the "Interlock" system - blocking the braking system of the car, when:

• open fencing of the filler fitting;
  
• open doors of the filling module;
  
• raised handrails of the service platform.
  

       4. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

      4.1. The design of aviation refueller meets the requirements of fire and electrostatic safety, as well as the basic requirements for the safety of aircraft ground handling equipment.

       4.2.The safety requirements for vehicles carrying flammable and explosive goods have been taken into account.
